The George Mason University closed circuit television (CCTV) is classified as a sensitive system. As a result of this classification, access to the system is highly restricted. Individuals must submit a request, and granting access is based on a case-by-case basis.
Step 1: Log in to the CCTV Access Request Form with Mason Net ID.
Step 2: Enter the requestor’s supervisor’s name and Mason’s email address.
Step 3: Complete the requestor’s basic information.
Step 4: Indicate camera locations.
Step 5: Please provide the reasoning for the access.
Step 6: Complete the supervisor’s contact information.
Step 7: Click next, and check the boxes to agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement stating that the requestors are being given access to sensitive information and will ensure all efforts are made to comply with university confidentiality regulations.
Step 8: Click Next and sign the electronic signature to submit the request.
Once the request is approved, the requestor will receive a notification that the access request is accepted and active.
